Learning and Development

As part of our Learning and Development Strategy, CESCP provides a series of multi-agency safeguarding learning and development opportunities to build on the experience, knowledge and skills that staff require for working with children and families.

Individuals should identify their training needs and which courses are appropriate for them through supervision and discussions with their manager or organisation's safeguarding representatives, based upon their job roles and contact with children and young people.

All training and development supported by Cheshire East CESCP is underpinned by current national and local research, policy and guidance into safeguarding and also adult learning theories.
