Continuum of Need Consultation open

The Cheshire East Continuum of Need document has been updated in line with the Families First reforms and is now available on the Cheshire East Safeguarding Children’s Partnership website for consultation. The updated document is public-facing but is primarily intended to support professionals in understanding levels of need, routes to support and safeguarding responses across the continuum. The consultation period will run for one month, with feedback requested by Friday 31 July 2026. Professionals are also invited to provide comments on these as part of the consultation. Feedback should be sent to the Partnership Business Unit at CESCP@cheshireeast.gov.uk. A child and family friendly version of the document is also in development.
